Welcome to Harvey's U-pick Farm!  Established in 1984 as a first generation farm. Owners Ron and Rose Harvey, along with their family, have grown fresh picked asparagus, and pick your own strawberries, raspberries and blueberries to become a local source for fresh, healthy and delicious produce.  Our produce is available starting with asparagus in May and ending in November with chestnuts and pumpkins.  Come and experience what our farm has to offer in south central Michigan, with easy access just west of I-69.  Explore our web site for more helpful information and directions to our farm.

See you soon,

Ron and Rose

Fall is here! What comes with this new season? Well, let us remind you! At the farm it means: winter squash, pumpkins and guards, indian corn and straw bales! AND still a wonderful crop of fall red raspberries; pick your own or already picked! AND green soybeans! AND CHESTNUTS!!! Yes, the chestnuts are falling. We are now taking orders for already picked chestnuts and making appointments for pick your own chestnuts.

For red raspberry prices and information please check the previous e-mail update.  We still have fun and easy raspberry picking available!

We have a great selection of winter squash and gourds daily.

Chestnuts are just starting! WE are now taking orders for already picked chestnuts which are 4.00/lb. For pick your own chestnuts ($3.00 a pound), please call the farm to make an appointment.  Please leave your name and phone number if you get our answering machine.

Have a great week, God bless!

FARM SAFETY:

1. If bringing children keep them near you at all times. This is a working farm which can have hazards for small children. There is a fenced-in pond near the blueberry patch, so it is very important to keep children in sight at ALL times.

2. Poison ivy! Ron has been working hard to locate and remove all poison ivy however there may still be some plants in the blueberry patch. Please keep an eye out for this and avoid it.

3. Driving and parking near the patch. Remember to drive SLOW! There are small children in and near the blueberry patch who may come running out at any time. WATCH OUT for them PLEASE.
